KeySpan Park is a minor league baseball stadium in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, a New York Mets affiliate, the stadium includes a concourse with free-standing concession buildings and overhanging fluorescent lamps in different colors which helps to evoke an amusement park atmosphere. In addition, the stadium overlooks the Atlantic Ocean as well as the famous Parachute Jump.

The new Yankee Stadium, which is currently being built, is scheduled to open for the 2009 baseball season. Located in the ‘backyard’ of the current Yankee Stadium, the new stadium will offer wider seats, more leg room between rows, additional luxury suites, and the addition of party suites. The stadium will also have many more retail locations located through out the stadium. Chelsea Lighting is supplying the light fixtures for the retail stores and the martini bar.

Located between 17th and 23rd Street along Manhattan’s Hudson River, Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex is a 28-acre waterfront facility offering elite Sports and Recreational activities. The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers includes a year-round outdoor golf driving range, a teaching academy, two full-swing simulators and two private event rooms. The driving range has four tiers, is weather protected and heated and utilizes a Japanese-technology automated ball tee-up system.

Madison Square Garden is in the midst of an $800 million renovation to be broken out into phases to accommodate for the sports and entertainment events. The redesign has begun and is expected to completed by the end of 2013. With an entire new look and state of the art lighting this is sure to bring an exciting new experience to The Garden.

Alice Tully Hall, is located at the northern end of the Lincoln Center Plaza. Alice Tully hall is regularly used by The Julliard School and the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Closed in May 2007 for renovations, Alice Tully Hall is scheduled to reopen in late February 2009.

Lincoln Center of the Performing Art’s 16.3 acres across Manhattan’s Upper West Side is home to twelve organizations including Avery Fisher Hall, The Julliard School, The Metropolitan Opera, and The New York City Ballet. Chelsea Lighting supported several of these organizations during the modernization by furnishing the light fixtures. The pictures above represent a portion of the work that was completed by Adco Electric and R.C. Dolner Construction in the summer of 2010.
