Overview
Chelsea Lighting provided specialized repair services for a complex Mecho motorized shade system in a large conference and multi-purpose space at the World Trade Center. A critical shade failure had rendered the system inoperable ahead of a scheduled corporate event, requiring an immediate response and expert technical execution.
The custom installation featured multi-banded blackout shades integrated with the building’s mullions, with a single motor operating three shades simultaneously. Restoring proper function required removing, reinstalling, and precisely recalibrating the entire three-banded assembly—work requiring specialized expertise to ensure reliable performance in a high-use commercial environment.
