As we open a new chapter in 2026, let’s first take stock of the progress that was made in 2025.   I couldn’t be prouder of how far Chelsea Lighting has come, it was a year of transformation, growth, and continued investment in our people, our clients, and our future.

Strengthening Our Leadership Team

To prepare for Bob Bazan’s retirement, we were thrilled to bring on Ryan Moss as Senior Vice President of Operations, bringing deep operational expertise and leadership to our growing team.  In addition to stabilizing our operations, we also shored up our sales team by adding an NYC lighting industry captain, Frank Capone.  Frank’s deep relationships, years of experience and reputation in the market are unmatched.  Having Frank working side by side with Eric Sackman is like having 2 ace pitchers on your staff!

Investing in Our People and Our New Office
Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re honored that Chelsea Lighting was named one of Crain’s New York Business Best Places to Work for the fourth consecutive year. While our business revolves around delivering exceptional results for our clients, we never lose sight of the importance of supporting and empowering our internal team. We also moved into a beautiful new office space, which is a project we designed, lit, and controlled ourselves. It’s a true reflection of what we deliver every day, and a space designed for optimal collaboration and people development.

Expanding Our Capabilities: The Launch of Chelsea Shades
This year also marked an exciting expansion of our integrated offerings with the launch of our Shades Division. We were fortunate to welcome industry veterans Michael Berkowitz and Brett Goldstein, whose experience and leadership are helping us deliver comprehensive lighting, controls, and shades solutions for our clients. This addition positions Chelsea as a true one-stop partner for integrated controls solutions for shades and lighting.

2026 A Year of Great Optimism

While 2025 started slowly amid tariff concerns and economic uncertainty, it ended with more quotes, signings and revenue than ever before.  We go into 2026 with momentum based on a robust backlog, significant pipeline of large projects and strong forecasts from our customers.  Having improved our operations and sales capabilities, Chelsea is uniquely positioned to deliver value to its customers and return to high growth.
